1.) MoonPhyr

Is it even a question? You've know for a long time that I always thought Dusk was your most awesome character, especially with this new iteration. You've got a lot of awesome characters, but I certainly feel like dusk is the coolest in general. From his several changes in backstory to his new robo-technic arm and eye, he just keeps getting cooler every time you draw him. I can't wait to see him in Shisenota when you start that back up again.

2.) Bbord

It's actually really hard to find good refs of her. But, it was a tie up between Ezra and Miyo, but I'm going to have to go with Miyo for this one. Of course, I've known her character much longer, and it's been nice to see her grow from a sort of angry teenager to a much more motherly character since I started RPing with you guys. You can easily tell over time how she's developed as the creator themselves has.

3.) Lunar-Oatmeal

I actually haven't known you too long, as I met you through Ruby and BnB. I have to say though, especially the first time I saw this app of Razor-- I thought it was really epic. Not to mention his consistent lack of a shirt shows off his (rather large) battle scars. Unfortunately I wasn't able to stick around in BnB for too long, but I loved reading about Razor and hearing stories about him from MoonPhyr and Rubixa-Seraph. All in all I think he's a really cool character.

Sorry about the bit of inactivity guys, been busy with lots of holiday stuff as well as preparing for the next semester of school. I hope all of your Holiday celebrations went wonderful, as we pump forward towards a new year. I am personally pleased with the turnout of the holidays-- I got a new easel for my sketch pad as well as some money to save up for whenever I'm able to buy a tablet in the future. It'll take a long time to save up, but I'm determined. I haven't really worked on much art lately, but I'll be updating a couple things and I may finish up one that I started a while ago. You may remember them as...



In addition, considering I already got the art done for it, I will be doing a bio soon for Zephyr, and fully uploading him to my collection of character designs.

So, I was looking through my character designs folder, kind of judging on my progress from old works and also seeing who (or what) I needed to redo. As I was scrolling through, I noticed though-- aside from one, none of them really had any comments at all, a couple having maybe 1 unrelated one but none of them really having any comments on the character themselves, or how the artwork is, or anything. As the character designs are my main thing, and with how much work I put into them, it's actually pretty saddening that I get less comments and such on those than I do on other works. I know I don't have many watchers or anything, but it would just be nice to get some actual feedback when I post something, y'know?

I dunno. Was just a thought. It's like 5 AM. Why am I even up?

So, I've recently gotten out of yet another art slump, and this time I'm motivated-- extremely so-- to remake the old OC's that either fell out of use or were simply poorly done. Some might just get new outfits while others may get entire revamps. I'll post the art on this journal first before I submit them, as redoing the entire bios takes me a bit of time. For now-- Brace yourselves. A swarm of awesome is coming.



Zephyr, The One With Nature ( Zephyr Character Application )

Zephyr is the first character I ever submitted to DeviantArt. It was... a horribly done pixel art, but that's also when I first got into RPing as well. He was originally a wind mage (that was also part Elf, apparently...) with a tome for spellcasting, who gardened on the side. For his revamp, I'm making him instead focused on the latter-- he is in touch and incredibly talented with those things of nature-- specifically plants. He's able to control them and understand them, as if they spoke to him.


Corvus Xadec ( Corvus Xadec )


Corvus is actually a character I made only two years ago, around the same time as Ako Ariolus (and for the same group...). What I had in my mind for him at the time was really cool, but looking back on him I felt he was really lacking. So, I took to turning him into the true Bad*ss he should be. I kept most of his clothes as they weren't that bad, but I gave him shoes (sandals in the desert? Foot pain incoming) and a new full-arm gauntlet to allow him to block with his left arm as his weapon is in his right. Speaking of the weapon, I gave him an entirely new one-- instead of the old 3-section staff (which is horribly awkward to fight with...), I gave him a new, more knightly weapon-- a Lance. However, I still kept elements of his old weapon: the drill head, and the electric discharge, namely. I'm really happy with how this came out, I really feel like Corvus is now the true awesome rogue knight he was made to be.

Aysla (Aysla Original)


Aysla was one of the very first characters I'd ever created, and certainly the first I ever fleshed out. While she never originally got posted to Deviantart until I joined Da-Fight, she's always kind of been my "flagship" OC, and the one that I've kept around the longest. She's gone through many iterations, but always kept her signature appearance traits-- brown hair, hair fringe, and wears a lot of purple. The last piece of art I did for her was quite a long time ago, and I've been wanting to redo her outfit for a while. When I got the motivation to improve myself through anatomical study, I decided to use my own OC's, and she was first on the list. When I actually got down to drawing though, the pose I picked seemed to really work out for her, so after my personal study I took that sketch and ran with it. Giving her another variation of her outfit that I created at one point, she's now wearing a lovely Violet Qipao, and will get a constantly updating story, due to the fact that her actual story, due to being so old of a character, is quite long. The only thing I didn't like about this however, was for some reason when saving the file to PNG the pixels get a bit messed up on the face, making it look blocky. Hopefully that will be resolved when I next work on a character.
